I’ve decided to update you all on the luxurious bathroom renovation that I decided my husband needed. To refresh your memory, seeing as it has been a month since I last spoke about this topic, my husband was experiencing extra stress at work and I knew exactly what needed to be done to relieve his stress. My husband needed a grand and deep bath like the one I use every evening, to soak the stress away after a long day of work.
When I left you last, I had just finalised the bathroom renovation plans with the bathroom designer and even though I knew I couldn’t keep the renovation from him, I could hide the reason for the renovation. After I had agreed on the bathroom renovation cost and even added a couple of extra luxuries to the bathroom because it was still in my price range, the renovators got to work.
My husband, just like I suspected, didn’t even flinch when he saw that I was fully redoing our third bathroom. To him, it was just another project that would keep me entertained, outside the stressors of work. He was happy for me, but I could tell the stress of his own work was weighing him down. I was anxious for the bathroom renovation to be finished, so that I could give my husband the one thing that would make his life that much better, a relaxing bath in a stunning bathroom.
Yesterday, we finally finished the bathroom renovations. Melbourne renovators are extremely talented, and that was confirmed at the sight of the stunning new bathroom. I was so excited for my husband to come home so that I could show him the bathroom. The bath was filled to the brim with hot bubbly water, soft music was playing through the speakers on the roof and the lights were dimmed to perfection. My anticipation of the moment that had been brewing for a month was completely satisfied. He loved it.
