You know what I hate? When I’m driving my car and listening to my usual radio station, and they change the presenter on me randomly. I have a routine, and I don’t like when it changes. I listen to Double K on my drives to and from work. In the mornings I listen to Bruce and Emily, and in the afternoons I listen to Lewis and Micheal. I absolutely hate when I get in the car and think I’m going to be listening to my favourite presenters and then someone else is filling in. It just throws me so off guard. Every day I look forward to listening to their stories and their banter, and then someone else comes in and ruins everything.
The last time it happened, I got so distracted that when I was backing out of my driveway I hit a tree and had to get urgent auto repairs close to Cambridge. I’ve never in my life hit the tree that was close to my driveway. It’s not like the tree was moving and that’s why I hit it. The only reason I hit it was because the first thing I heard in the morning was a voice that I wasn’t used to hearing. I was ready for my hilariously funny Bruce and Emily, and that’s not what I got.
Having to get the car repairs was also a massive pain. I had half a mind to call up Double K and demand that they pay the bill from the car mechanic. Cambridge isn’t immune to inflation and high prices, which meant I had to pay through the roof to get my car repairs done. It was clearly Double K’s fault, and to this day I don’t think that I should have had to pay for the repairs.
